Marianne McLendon Busbee

Marianne Mc Lendon Busbee died in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday December 5, 2017 after a brief illness. Before relocating to Atlanta, Marianne was a native of Fitzgerald, Georgia and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama. Marianne was a graduate of Auburn University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She also held a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama. She was retired from the engineering firm of Baskerville-Donovan. Marianne was the widow of Mobile physician, Dr. Benjamin Robert Busbee. She is survived by their daughter Brandon Leigh Busbee of Atlanta. A memorial service will be held at H.M. Patterson Oglethorpe Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA on December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive guests at a reception immediately following. A memorial service will be scheduled in Mobile, Alabama at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
