Lois Helena Morgan, passed away on August 15th. Helena was born to Lela Mae and Ed Jones of Wheeler, Texas in 1922. She is survived by her husband, Martin; son Stephen (Linda); daughter Eva (Barbara); son Mark; grandson Neal; brother Stanley Jones (Billie); sister-in-law Frances Jones; and sister-in-law Claire Jones. Helena traveled the world as the wife of a diplomat with the Foreign Agricultural Service, living several years in Australia and Malaysia before settling down in Fairfax, Virginia for 35 years, where she worked as a real estate agent. During her life Helena forged many wonderful friendships and was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. Most recently she lived in Hulon Greene in West Columbia, SC and Merrill Gardens and The Mann House in Dunwoody, GA. Memorial services will be at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill on Tuesday August 21st at 2:00 p.m.
