Lewie was born to the late Simplicio and Primitiva Malomay, U.S. Navy and an Entrepreneur respectively, in Cavite City, Philippines on September 7, 1942. She was immersed in her family’s business while attaining her Certified Public Accounting designation at the youthful age of 19.
Lewie was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her best friend and fellow parishioner, Jose Caramanzana, on June 21, 1972 in Silang, Philippines. Lewie raised her three children with patience, discipline and humility.
Lewie was an educator at heart. She was kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to share experiences or solve a problem, no matter how small. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
Lewie is survived by her two sisters and brother Consolacion Malomay Tungpalan, Clarita Dayao Malomay and Andalicio Dayao Malomay respectively; her children Jake Malomay Caramanzana, Jamela Malomay Caramanzana Reifsnyder, and Lou Malomay Caramanzana; daughter in-laws Courtney Caramanzana, Katrina Caramanzana; son-in-law Dan Reifsnyder; her grandchildren Kobee Caramanzana, Cenon Caramanzana, Kaliana Reifsnyder, Tony Reifsnyder and Malik Caramanzana. She is preceded in death by her siblings Bonifacio Dayao Malomay, Ricardo Dayao Malomay, Herminia Malomay Villarama and Zosimo Dayao Malomay; and her parents.
Lewie’s visitation celebration will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel,
4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319 at 4pm to 9pm on July 12, 2018 with a reception to follow. Chaplain George White III will officiate the eulogy/service.
