Kenneth Hord Skinner, age 91, of Chamblee passed away on Saturday December 13, 2014. Born in Kings Mt, North Carolina on September 5, 1923, he was raised in Gaffney South Carolina. Mr. Skinner was a US Army veteran and served our country during WWII. He had a long career with Chevron Oil Co. working for the company for over 30 years. He was a member of the Chamblee Masonic Lodge and will fondly be remembered as an avid fisherman and baker. Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Skinner, son, Eugene Skinner. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Angie and Ray McQuaig; granddaughter, Aimee McQuaig; sisters, Betty Clary of SC and Emma Rhinehart of FL and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Prospect Cemetery in Chamblee on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
