Kay Thomasson passed away on June 27, 2018. Kay was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 3, 1946, to the late Pauline Mincey Conway and Kells Conway. She was a native Atlantan, who attended The Lovett School and graduated from Auburn University in 1968. Upon graduation, Kay entered public service as a social worker in downtown Atlanta. Her life was committed to charity, and she regularly donated her time to caring for others. She is lovingly remembered for her selfless giving and her generous heart.
Kay is survived by her older brother, Alton Conway (Jane), her children: Scott Thomasson, Katie Gryglas (Mark), Brad Thomasson and four adoring grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Dicky Thomasson.
A memorial service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held on Saturday, July 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel in Brookhaven, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
