Judith Rollins, 75, passed away on January 20, 2023. She was born in Atlanta to Edwin Harris and Charlotte Reeves Harris. She graduated from Mercer University in 1980 and immediately began her career in long-term care. She was an amazing nursing home administrator for 30 years who assured that residents had the best of care. Many who worked with her viewed Judith as their teacher and mentor. Judith loved reading, her gentle pets, international travel, music, and the theater, but mostly, spending time with her beloved family and friends. Judith will be remembered for her wisdom, wicked sense of humor, insightful understanding of human nature, generous spirit and kindness.
Judith is survived by the love of her life, Donna Huffstutler; her sons, Jeffrey Rollins, Gregory Rollins and his wife, Amanda and granddaughter, Grace Rollins.
A celebration of Judith’s life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son – Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319. A reception will immediately follow the service.
