Jeannette was the heart of our home and family. She raised five children: Paul and Monika Jannuzzo, Donna Jean Suydam, AnnMarie and Louis Mastria, Christina and Kevin Ulisse, and Stephan and Darra Jannuzzo, fostering a happy and loving environment that encouraged them to become independent and thoughtful adults.
Jeannette was married for 56 years to her first love, J. Paul, who preceded her in death.
She cherished her role as grandmother to 15 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 6, and aunt and great-aunt to many others. The grandchildren unanimously agree that visiting their grandparents in Vermont was the highlight of their summers.
Her home was a gathering place for neighborhood children, some of whom affectionately referred to her as their other mother.
Jeannette was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Mass for Jeannette will be held at Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Atlanta on November 4 at 11:00 a.m.
