James Way was a world-renowned artist and painter, a hero, a loving and passionate friend, partner, brother, father. James was blessed by God with a gift that is rare and fragile and changes the internal thermostat of humans, an ability to express himself through his art in a way that moves the soul. Through his God-given talent, and his beautiful, courageous, wounded heart and soul, he gave to humanity, to a community, and to his family. His passionate, open-hearted way of living in this world showed strength, love, reverence, humor, and beauty to all who knew him and to a world that so desperately needs it.
