James Michael Rast Jr.

James Michael Rast, Jr. (best known as Mike), age 37, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 2nd, 1979, he was a long-time resident of Jensen Beach, Florida. He graduated from Martin County High School in 1998 and was currently working at Ruby Collins in Atlanta Georgia. His love for Alabama football always brought a smile to his face. The crimson red and white was a huge part of his wardrobe. He was your typical Florida guy who loved the water, fishing and sea food. He leaves behind his loving wife Brenda Rast, his pride and joy son James Michael Rast, III (Trey), his wonderful parents Mike and Diane Rast, his younger brother Joe Rast, his friend Jaime McKenzie-Rotenizer and many Rast and Durant family members as well as many friends. We will be having a memorial service for Mike at the Jensen Beach Causeway at 6pm on Saturday April 1, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to the James Michael Rast, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund. All proceeds will be used to benefit Mike's son (Trey) for his future needs.
