Doris Landon

LANDON, Doris Raiford (Rary) passed away January 19, 2012 after a long struggle with lung disease. She is survived by daughter and son in law, Kim and Noel Byrne and a large extended family. She was an Atlanta native, one of nine children born to Elvie and Ottis Rary, Sr. She retired in 1994 after owning her own restaurant with her husband, Howard Joseph Landon, Jr. She was always helping and giving to others her whole life. She was loved by all and will be missed by many, especially Noel and Kim. We love you mom. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 o’clock at Patterson’s Spring Hill, the funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22 at 2 o’clock at Spring Hill, interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
