I remember the day this picture was taken in 1987, I was so happy my Uncle Charlie was visiting my grandmother's house.  I always loved his visits.
 Later in life he introduced me to our family history, history that would of been lost in time without his dedication and tireless research. I wouldn't of been able to begin dabbling into my own as a hobby without his encouragement. He warned it would be an addictive hobby and he was sure right! 
I will miss Uncle Charlie deeply. 

I was so proud of my big brother Charley when he joined the Marines! 
I told him I wanted to join too when I was old enough.  He told me he'd break my arm if I ever joined.  I think he had just been through "hell week".    - True story
