Barbara Yarn Rosenberg passed away on Thursday February 24, 2011 at 11 AM. She was 87 years old. Barbara was one of a kind who loved watching sports on TV, playing cards with her friends and raising her 3 children, Nancy, Buz and Susie. She was married to her now deceased husband, Leman for 62 years. She graduated from Old Girls High School of Atlanta. She then went on to be a popular Atlanta Actress who won the coveted title role in “My Sister Eileen”. She was a veteran of over 200 Theater Guild Shows, including the “Induction Frolics” where she won the title of “The Sweetheart of the Reception Center” at Fort MacPherson. She had leads in many of the Guild’s legitimate plays and college plays at the University of Georgia. She was a first class example of what a good Mom should be. Her kids and her husband always came first. She is also survived by Susie’s husband, Vic Fischer, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 grand sons-in-laws. She will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial will be held at Patterson’s Spring Hill, Sunday, February 27 at 3 PM where a visitation will be from 2 PM until 3 PM. Family and friends are welcome at Susie and Vic’s house located at 978 Fairfield Drive, Marietta, GA 30068 immediately following the service.
