Albert J. Pack, Jr. of Chamblee, Georgia, was born January 15, 1925 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, and died September 9, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II, was a member of Clairmont Baptist Church for 57 years , received a B.A. from Georgia State University, and retired from NMAC and then from Dekalb County Public Safety.He was predeceased by his parents, Albert J. Pack, Sr. and Lucile Torrence Pack, and granddaughter, Chelsea Kiessling. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Juanita Morris Pack; his son, Terry Pack (Sandy) of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters, Patricia Pack Kiessling of Cleveland, Georgia, and Debra Pack Sheriff (Gene) of Acworth, Georgia; grandchildren, Heather Pack Coleman (Cade), Garrett Welles (Brandie), Ryan Pack (Christine), Holly Welles Brode (Jared), Vince Kiessling, and Tyler Pack; 9 great-grandchildren, Logan, Alexa and Cooper Coleman, Sophie and Kayden Welles and Devin Luther, Austin and Brandon Robertson, and Reagan Brode; and his sister, Wilma Pack Weatherby (Gordon) and a niece and nephew. The service will be held in the Chapel at Patterson's Oglethorpe Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with the viewing at 10:00. Entombment will immediately follow at Peachtree Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that you please make a donation to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
