Agnes Burns

Born in Crystal City, Missouri on November 28, 1929. Mrs. Burns resided most of her life in Festus, MO with her loving husband Jim of 51 years. She was an active volunteer in the community and enjoyed gardening on the farm where she and her husband lived. She was a member at Our Lady Catholic Church. Two years after her husband’s death she moved to Atlanta where she has lived for the past eight years. She was a resident at The Mann House and most recently, Belmont Village. At both The Mann House and Belmont, she made good friends, loved the staff, and enjoyed partaking in trips and activities.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Burns Parker of Atlanta; son-in-law, Robert Parker; beloved grandchildren; Blake and Mackenzie Parker; sister, Marie Pasternak in Desloge, Missouri.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 on Wednesday evening, March 17 at Patterson Spring Hill and Funeral Mass will take place at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Thursday evening , March 18 at 5:30. Interment will be in Crystal City, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ The King School, 2699 Peachtree Road, NE Atlanta, GA 30305.
