A native of Clarke County, Mr. Parker was the son of Elbert and Gwen Dillard Parker. He was an assistant manager with Fox Appliance, a member of the Athens Rifle Club, and a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include wife, Vickie Shannon Dailey Parker; daughter, McCall Parker; brother, Alan Kyle Parker and wife, Amanda of Athens, and niece, Maylin Parker.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, March 17th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Wednesday, March 16th at Bernstein.
