A native of Maryland, Mr. Raemy was preceded in death by a son, Steve Sartain. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam and retired after 28 years of active duty. After his retirement, he owned and operated Professional Sharpening was a member of Crossroads Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie Kesler Raemy of Hull; sons, Sam Sartain of Madison Co., Terry Sartain of Bogart, and Britt Sartain and wife, Cindy of Hull; daughters, Lisa Vaughn and husband, Ricky of Athens and Gina Neal and husband, Robin of Gainesville; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, October 27th at Crossroads Church with Rev. Morris Sapp and Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Sunday, October 26th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
