Mrs. Taylor was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Rush P. and Ethel Dove and grew up in the Athens area, graduating from Bogart High School in 1945. She married Donald Taylor of Tampa, Florida in 1948, who passed in 1956. She married the late Boyd Bradford in 1957.
Mrs. Taylor worked her entire adult life until retiring, but most importantly, raised and nurtured 6 healthy, grateful children, mostly as a single mother, and was also very active with her grandchildren. Many others knew her as a “second Mom.” Vicki loved family, music, nature, laughter and life and “never met a stranger.” If you are one of those non-strangers, please join her family for a viewing between 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 at Bernstein Funeral Home. Services will be at Bernstein’s at 11:00 a.m. the next day, followed by burial at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her loving children, Dona B. Coulter of Knoxville, TN; Karen E. Taylor-Day of Clarksburg, MD; Donald A. (“Tony”) Taylor of Colbert, GA; Jennifer Patrice Hallman of Bishop, GA; B. Allen Bradford, Jr. of Simsbury, CT; and Andrea H. Bradford of Hoschton, GA; by her children’s spouses; by her grandchildren Donald Hallman, Mary Catherine McAteer, Jennifer Weight, Sara Hallman, Julia Coulter, Douglas Coulter, Andrew Bobo, Joseph Bradford, Amaris Williams, Victoria Daguerre-Bradford and John Daguerre-Bradford; and numerous grandchildren-in-law and great grand children. She is also survived by her brother Blanton Dove of Athens, Georgia; Dorothy Gentry of Marietta, Georgia; Katherine Barlow of Duluth, Georgia; and their families.
Mrs. Taylor was also known as Vivian Bradford and Vivian Casper.
