Thomas Hansford

Born in Clarke County Mr. Hansford was a lifelong resident of Oconee County and the son of the late Ernest and Agnes Maxey Hansford, Sr. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Watkinsville First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Margaret Hayes Hansford; daughter Linda Culp and husband Kenneth; son Lloyd Hansford and wife Paula; brother Homer Hansford and wife Susan all of Watkinsville; grandchildren Ken Culp, Kade Culp and Lafe Hansford and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2PM Tuesday, Sept. 11th at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Shumate officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12-2 at Bernsteins. Pallbearers will be Ken Culp, Kade Culp, Lafe Hansford, Sammy Hansford, Tommy Hewell, and David Hansford.
