Susan McGuiness Smith

Born in New York, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Timothy McGuiness and Edna Magill McGuiness.

She retired as a teacher with Commerce City Schools. She loved teaching, was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Paul Smith; brothers, Robert McGuiness, Jack McGuiness and Timothy McGuiness; and sisters, Isabella LoCicero and Kathleen Morse.

Survivors include sister, Mary Ann Casey; children, Gina Bodio, Paul Smith and Amy Jo Berg (Josh); grandchildren, Scott Graham (Ebony), Robyn Bodio, Michael Bodio, Nicholas Bodio (Von), Alyson Wilson, Lauren Sandoval (Irving), Marianne Berg , David Paul Berg, Trinity Woodey and Christian Woodey; 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
