Steve was such a kind man, good friend and co-worker that will definitely be missed.  God Bless Nancy, his children, grand-children, family and friends at this sad time. Steve was an outstanding guy he always was positive and treated you with respect and would always give you his opinion on the Coca Cola business, he was a great supervisor and mentor he would always make you laugh regardless of how you felt he would always roll up his sleeve in any task that was set before you and help you in anyway  that he could, he talked about his wife Nancy and family a lot I would always call him ole papa even though I retired Coca Cola in 2008 we still contacted each other and I will forever miss him, my heart goes out to you Nancy and the family, May God bless you all.

Steve was a Father figure to me. He knew my kids and my wife. He taught me a lot about the business and we talked a lot about life. We use to joke around about retiring and driving garbage trucks. He will be surely missed.

Steve was a great friend. We would have lunch and shares stories about our families. He loved his family and especially his grand kids.. He would tell me about his vacations and how much he looked forward to going on     He will be missed so much.

What a great guy! I will truly miss him and our morning chats at the front desk - we solved a lot of the world's problems.  Steve was a good business partner and willing to help anyone as well as willing to learn himself.  He would take on tasks that weren't really his responsibility, but knew it had to get done.   Godspeed to his family 

Mr.Brooks was a outstanding boss, he ensured our team was capable to handle all tasking given to the account Managers. We all shall keep his family in our prayers.

I meet Steve in early 2000’s,  when he  came to Memphis Coke  to work.  He was my immediate Supv. for several years and 
one of the best  bosses I  ever worked for.
 Steve  was probably one of the most respected Supv. at Memphis Coke.   He was an  employee  builder,  and he wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.  We had lots of laughs,  which far out weighed any bad times.
To those who knew him, and worked with him,  he will be truly missed.  If you worked with him, you were better for it. Guys like Steve,  very rarely come around,  in this day and time.

Steve was an incredible person. I have worked for Coca-Cola Morrilton/Little Rock for 11 years and EVERYTIME, without fail that I needed help with something Steve was there to walk me through it and to help me.  He was a very special person with an incredible love for people. I very much enjoyed coming to Memphis for meeting and getting to visit with him. We are saddened by his passing but we know that he is in a better place with no pain and laughing loudly in Heaven. Coca-Cola Mid-South Market Unit will not be the same without him. #COCACOLAFAMILY
