Born in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Cleo Lois Wilkes Hardigree. Mrs. Lavender was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lavender, brothers Thomas E. Hardigree, Eugene Hardigree and Ralph Hardigree and sister Agnes L. Parks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Christian Church.
Survivors include sons Billy Lavender and wife Cheryl, Roger Lavender, Jim Lavender and wife Glenda all of Watkinsville and Bobby Lavender and wife GiGi of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am Monday, October 27th at the Antioch Christian Church with Rev. Scott Bartholomew and Rev. Franklin Shumate officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday,October 26th, from 3-5pm at Bernstein.
