Ruben Donald Frady

Athens, Georgia. Ruben Donald Frady, 80, passed away March 1, 2019 following a brief illness.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Willene Frady of Canton, brother, Olen of Canton, sister Elaine Frady Gramling of Canton, and grandson, Derrick Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Thomas Frady; daughters Sheila and husband Brad Hadden of Madison, AL; Sheryl and husband Mike Megar of Lawrenceville, GA; Sharon and husband Don Cashin of Watkinsville, GA; and Sondra and husband Brian Lake of Monroe, GA. He is also survived by two sisters, Suelane Holtzclaw and Evelyn Colley, sisters-in-law, Joan Frady; Mamie Thomas Lummus; and brother-in-law Rev. Imogene Thomas. In addition, Ruben is survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.

A private service was held at Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens, GA.
