A native of Brunswick, Ricky was the son of the late Nolan Ray and Willa Jean Tyre Ray of Brunswick. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by brothers: Randy Ray and Rocky Ray, both of Brunswick.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Nancy Hayes Ray; sons: Ryan Ray and Michael Ray (Heather); daughter, Lori Ray (Jay); sister, Rhonna Orlando (Dominic); seven grandchildren: Margaret Ray, Whit Ray, Anna Ray, Ava Ray, Judd Bennett, Hadley Bennett and Lincoln Bennett.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 9, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home.
The family would like to express its appreciation to the staff of DaVita Athens West Dialysis and the staff of St. Mary’s NCCU for the loving care provided to Ricky.
