Minnie was born in Elberton to the late James Dayton Huff and Lillian Miller Huff and spent most of her life in Bogart. She was a member of Bogart Baptist Church and retired from Dr. W. H. Williams' Orthodontist office, where she was a dental assistant. Minnie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and camping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin McClain Turner, infant twin brother, Bennie Huff, brothers, Henry A. “Buddy” Huff and James W. Huff, and sisters, Mary E. Bray and Lougenia M. Peck.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her sons, Marvin Wendell Turner and his wife, Melissa and Allen Wayne Turner and his wife, Debbie all of Bogart; granddaughter, Brooke Turner Houlihan and her husband, Griffin of Loganville.
The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice and her caregivers, Renee Hartley and Brenda Smith for their loving care and support of Mrs. Turner during her illness.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023, in Bernstein Funeral Home, immediately followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ted Tedder officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
