Michael was retired from Peterson Spring where he worked for 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Rosalie Wilkerson, his older sister, Becky, and her husband Buck.
He was the beloved brother to his sister, Pamela Wilkerson who survives him along with many cousins.
A special service will be held at 1:30 pm on December 15, 2020 at Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Lung Association.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
