A native of Kenton, Ohio, Mrs. Lieske was a daughter of the late Thurman Wright and Martha Schrenk Wright. She worked as a public school teacher, as store manager of Bookland and retired as a sales associate from Belk’s. Mrs. Lieske loved playing and teaching Bridge. She taught Sunday school in Athens, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lieske was preceded in death by her son, Craig Wayne Lieske.
Survivors include husband, Dale Lieske of Athens; daughter, Gretchen Janal Hill of Statham; sisters, Lorena “Dee Dee” Baird of Findlay, Ohio and Nancy Hetrick of Norwalk, Ohio; granddaughter, Sierra “CC” Veal of Statham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
