A native of Birmingham, AL, Mr. Bailey was the son of the late Marvin Dan Bailey, Sr. and Susie Spencer Bailey. He served in the United States Army and retired from United States Navy Supply Corp.
Survivors include wife of 60 years, Sara Spratlin Bailey of Athens; daughter, Donna Morris and husband, Bryan of Winder; son, Danny Bailey and wife, Denise of Danielsville; grandsons, Michael Morris and wife, Molly, Tanner Bailey and wife, Candice, and William Bailey, and great-granddaughter, Clara Winter Bailey.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Saturday, October 17th at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30 prior to the service at Bernstein Funeral Home.
