Mrs. LeAnn Camp of Lexington Georgia, loving wife and mother passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Atlanta Georgia February 6, 1952 to the late Edwin Thomas Hardy and Mrs. Ann Castille Hardy of Forest Park, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Thomas Hardy and a brother Edwin Thomas “Chip” Hardy Jr.
She married Steven Arthur Camp on January 6, 1972. Together they raised four children and are grandparents to 11 grandchildren. She spent her life taking care of her home and family. She was also known as a great friend to many. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steven A. Camp; daughter and son in law, Stacy and Lance Brown and their children, Seth, Laura and Kyndall; daughter and son in law, Jana and Chip Walker and their children, Michaela, Brad, Emma, Steven; son and daughter in law, Jason and Denise Camp and their children, Anna, Haley, Shawn; son and daughter in law, Wade and Wendi Camp and their children, Logan and Rylee (due in July). Mother, Ann Hardy; sister, Denise Gregory; brothers Jeffrey Hardy and Matthew Hardy. Father and mother in law, Travis and Dorothy Camp; Brother and sister in law, Richard and Pamela Camp; Sister and brother in law Debra and Tommy Cook; Sister and brother in law, Donna and Mark Jones. She is also survived by four nieces, Shela Duke, Stephanie Rhodes, Marie Taylor and Jennifer Hardy; six nephews, Edwin Hardy III, Daniel Camp, TJ Cook, Jesse Bass, Luke and Jared Hardy.
A memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday, March 27th in the Chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM prior to the service.
