Louise Margaret Dove

A native of Madison County, Mrs. Dove was the daughter of the late Robert Calhoun Franklin and Beulah Streetman Franklin and was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Willie Dove and son-in-law, Otis Wallace. She retired from Westclox and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Lovingly known as “Maw-Maw” to family and close friends, Mrs. Dove enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, and her Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include daughters, Shirley Elam and husband, Rick of Iva, SC and Clara Wallace of Winder; son, James Jerry Dove and wife, Brenda of Athens; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, July 24th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM Wednesday, July 23rd at Bernstein.
