She was born in Banks County, retired as an inspector with Wilkins Industries and was a charter member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, Raymond Chambers and wife, Kay, of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Jennifer Reynolds and Molly Scott; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 8 from 10-11 a.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home with services to follow in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Crist Camden will officiate. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
