Logan Upshaw Bentley

A native of Clarke County, Mr. Bentley was the son of Mason and Angie Logan Bentley and was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Frances Florence Bentley and his maternal grandfather, William Truman Logan. He graduated from Oconee County High School in 2008 where he was on the golf team. Mr. Bentley attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. In 2010, he transferred to the University of Georgia where he was presently enrolled, continuing his education in real estate. Mr. Bentley enjoyed spending time with his family at Lake Rabun and Amelia Island and loved the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a sister, Kathryn Bentley Fountain and husband, James of Athens; paternal grandfather, Upshaw Bentley Jr; maternal grandmother, Priscilla Manus Logan, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, March 26th at First Baptist Church of Athens with Rev Paul Baxley and Dr. Jon Appleton officiating. A private burial will follow. The family will receive friends at their residence.
