Mrs. Linda D. Gunter, 73, of Athens, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 20th.
She was a longtime member of Christian Life Church. Mrs. Gunter was born in Detroit, Michigan but made Athens her home for 70 years. She was the wife of the late George D. Gunter. Mrs. Gunter worked in management at K-Mart for 17 years and was a graduate of Athens High School.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by her daughter, Denise Daleski of Duluth, GA; her son-in-law, Richard M. Daleski of Duluth, GA; two grandsons, Marcus E. Scogin of Athens and Kenneth W. Scogin of Duluth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22nd from 6 pm until 8 pm at Bernstein Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 23rd at 12 pm in the chapel of Bernstein's. The burial will follow at the Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery on Lexington Road in Athens.
