Mr. House was born on September 24, 1958 to Claude and Frances House in Gainesville, GA. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Deborah Greene House. Mr. House will always be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a very intelligent man who relished in learning more of The Lord, and the world around him. He held a Doctorate Degree in Theology and spent many years offering Christian counseling. He also traveled through out Georgia preaching and singing at revivals. He was a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing him.
Mr. House was an avid golfer who held many records at area courses; setting his earliest course record at the young age of eight. He was a true Renaissance man with a passion for learning. He also enjoyed and collected time pieces of all sorts. He savored beauty in the world around him in such things as gemstones, ivory, and jewelry. His love for life and his family will be cherished forever. He will be more deeply missed than simple words could ever hope to express.
Mr. House is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Greene House; and his father, James Claude House; Siblings: Bryan and Susan House, Flowery Branch, Aleta and Sam Rauch, Oakton, VA, Tracy and James Ledford, Hoschton, and Karen House, Gainesville. He is also survived by his dear friend Steve Podhouser and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Payne House; grandparents Clyde "Coach" and Nellie Payne; and George and Sally House.
Mr. House's family will receive friends at Bernstein Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28th from 6:00 to 8:00pm and the celebration of his life will be on Wednesday, December 29th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bernstein.
