A native of Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, Kay was the daughter of the late Ralph Wilson and Doris Elizabeth Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Milton Hale; and two sisters: Lizzy Duncan and Annette (Net) Wynn. She was a member of Anchor Bible Church in Hull.
Survivors include her son, Angelo Wheeler (Kathy) of Athens; daughter, Shonda McGinty (Patrick) of Peachtree City; and son, Jeff Hale (Tammy) of Hull; sister, Sybil Arnold of Hull, brothers: Merle Arnold (Cheryl) of Winterville and Yankee Arnold (Betty) of Tampa, FL; and grandchildren: Bryson Harbin (Alisha), Chase Harbin (Destiny), Cody Harbin (Tiffany), and Madison Hale; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Anchor Bible Church (340 Billy Dillard Rd., Hull, GA) on Saturday, November 18, from 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastors Barry Black, Gordon Rhoden, and Yankee Arnold officiating. Burial will be a private ceremony with the immediate family.
Kay and the family want to thank Sybil Arnold, Sissy and Anthony Perry, Pat and Jim Pinckard, and Trina Barnes for their tremendous help in caring for Kay over the past few years. They would also like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their care and support.
