John David Rasch

He was born in Oklahoma, to the late Wayne and Linda Dennis Rasch.

John David was surrounded by love, and had support of many of his close friends in the AA community during his illness. He loved to sit in his rocking chair on his front porch and cheer on his Georgia bulldawgs. John David loved spending time with his three grandbabies, who affectionately called him “Ta Ta.”

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Brad Rasch and Chad Rasch.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Rasch; a daughter, Carrie Savage and her husband, Dustin Cummins; three grandchildren, Sutton Cummins, Walter Cummins and Maisie Cummins and his fur babies, Venus, Lola and Peaches; sister, Linsey Jarrett, husband and nieces; Paul Rasch and wife, daughter and great- nephews.

A gathering of family and friends for John David will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy., Athens, Georgia 30606, followed by a celebration of John David's life at 1:00 PM.
