We are sad to announce Jerry Wayne Eisenhart, age 77, of Nicholson, Ga., who passed away on December 8, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Ga., with Betty, his wife, at his side.
Jerry was born November 1, 1946 in Reading, Pa., but spent most of his younger years in Randleman, NC. He loved playing his guitar, fishing and hunting. Jerry was retired from his pest control business, J & E Pest Control in Bradenton, Fla. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and was a faithful member of Samoset First Baptist Church of Bradenton, Fla., until he moved to Georgia and joined Nicholson Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by mother, Dorothy G. Pickler; sister, Ginger W. Jones; and the man he considered his father, Harold Cross.
He leaves behind his wife, Betty Allred Eisenhart; sister, Dolores (Dee) Alton Byrd; three children: Harold, Wayne, Amanda; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
