What a wonderful and jovial man.  Loved seeing Geno, always a smile and a quick compliment. Least not forget his corny jokes.  He will be greatly missed.
My heart pours out to the family, may God and The Holy Spirit be with you over these next months as you heal from your loss.  May His blessing give you times of joy in remembrance of the love shared and happy times spent together.

In life, there's many people that make an impression on you. Gene Smart was one of those people. He was a kind soul that knew people. He had a great head on his shoulders and was very knowledgeable. It was my great pleasure to work with him for 5 years at Perteet T.V.  Carolyn was the love of his life and every bit as sweet as Gene. I am very saddened by his departure to a better place, but we will see him again one day. My condolences to Carolyn, Terry, Cheree and the Smart Family.

I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. Gene and Carolyn(Skeeter) were dear friends and neighbors when we lived off Whitehead Rd in Athens. I bought my first stereo from Gene. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the days ahead.
