James Quinton Lumpkin III, 78, of Athens, GA passed away on March 16, 2018
Mr. Lumpkin was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer and of course loved UGA football.
Mr. Lumpkin was the son of the late James Q. Lumpkin Jr and Mary Lumpkin.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Lumpkin, two sons James Q. Lumpkin IV and Bert H. (Carole) Lumpkin both of Athens, GA. Brother Jack Watson Lumpkin of Saint Simons, GA and three grandchildren James Q. Lumpkin V, Raleigh Lumpkin, and Julianna Lumpkin.
Funeral services will be Monday March 19, 2018 at 2 pm in the chapel of Bernstein’s with interment to follow service at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
