A native of Albany, GA, Mr. Brown was the son of James O Brown and Linda Brewer Brown and was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Brown and sister, Liana Jo Brown. He was a retired Sergeant from the United States Marine Corp and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a son, James “Jimmy” Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Brewer of Athens; brother, Barry Brown of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Karen Durden of Augusta and Allison Brown of Athens, and nieces and nephews, Joseph and Ashley Wood, Ciera, Karli, and Jake Durden, Brooke, Brenna, and Brittain Brown, Dillon Brown, and Zane and Isabella London.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Wednesday, May 18th at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Saturday, May 14th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
