Isobelle Anne Haggarty Ellis

Isobelle Anne Haggarty Ellis, loving Wife, Mom, and Grandma, passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 79. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, lsobelle came to this country and proudly became a citizen at age 18. During her career she worked in Admissions for both Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey and Truett McConnell College in Watkinsville, Georgia. lsobelle was an amazing cook and shared her talents with her family and her catering business, “Out to Lunch.” She was a resident of Colbert, Georgia where she loved life on the farm with the horses. Isobelle is survived by her husband, H. Kevin Ellis, her son, Kevin J. Ellis, and two daughters, Jennifer (Skip) and Aimee (Chris). She will be lovingly remembered by them and her six grandchildren, Devon, Will, Sawyer, Logan, Patrick, and J.P. They will all remember her “Charlie” stories and that she loved them with her “Whole Heart.” lsobelle was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Haggarty and her brother, Jim Haggarty.

The funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the University of Georgia Catholic Center. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in lsobelle's memory to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at https://www.choa.org/give/.
