Grace Williams Smith

Born in Athens, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late William Homer Williams and Octavie Gunnells Williams. She was a longtime member of Princeton United Methodist Church and loved traveling. Whether it be the mountains, the beach or the lake, she was always ready to go.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fred Smith; and great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Spencer.

Survivors include daughter, Diane Duncan (David) of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Travis Duncan and Heather Duncan (J.D. Spencer); and great-grandchildren, Kevin Irwin, Lauren Beck, Derek Duncan, Lillie Hammond and Blakely Spencer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., prior to the service.
