George was the love of my life. He was the most wonderful husband, father, son, brother, collegue and friend anyone could ask for. Friends and family have helped me through this tremendous loss and we appreciate every kind word and gesture. Thank you and may God bless you.

George and I grew up together in the Greshamville Community.  We roamed the woods, rode horses, swam in the local ponds.  He moved to Madison but we remained friends.  He introduced me to my wife, Janie Hudson of Madison and was in our wedding (we will celebrate 44 years together this year).  Altough we didn't spend a lot of time together after starting our families, I have always considered George one of my best friends.  I think most people who really knew him did also.  My heart felt sympathies to you, Sandra, and the girls.  He will be missed by a lot of folks.

George Hanson was a true Professional and a Gentlemen.  I interacted with him on tax matters over the decades.  He was greatly respected and liked.

George held a very high standard when it came to property tax laws.  So many people learned so much from him including myself.  He will be missed greatly.  My prayers go out to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of George's passing.  I have fond memories of being childhood friends with George and Reba and knowing the Hanson family when we all lived in  Greshamville.   My sincere condolences to the entire Hanson family.  May God be with you all in a very special way during this time.

To The Family of the Late Mr. George Hanson:  I always considered George to be a friend.  He was always very kind and cordial to me.  I worked in the Courthouse for many years and would speak to him in passing or on other ACC business. George was indeed funny.  I remember the story he told me about finding out that Sandra was pregnant with their last daughter, Lori.  It was a humerous story and I always thought about it whenever I saw him.  He will be truly missed by all.
