Born in Lula, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Hoyt Jordan and Ethel Jones Jordan. She was a devoted wife and mother and a faithful member of Young Harris Memorial Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Charles Jordan, Stanley Jordan and Harold Jordan; and sisters Laverne J. Saxon and Wilma J. Sheridan.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Wesley Wright; children: Kevin Wright (Tara) and Lisa Banister (Chuck); sisters and brothers-in-law: Bobbie J. Carpenter, Margaret J. Dooley, Emily J. Perry, Elaine J. Fleming (Doug); brothers and sisters-in-law: Talmadge Jordan (Joyce), Richard Jordan (Patsy), and her twin brother, Dayle Jordan; six grandchildren: Taylor, Whitney, Brooklyn, Kinsey, Kaleb and Kyle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m., in the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Luis Ortiz officiating. Interment will follow in Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson County.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
