A native of Utica, New York, he was the son of the late James and Leona Ungerathen Hope, the beloved husband of the late Margaret Ellen Hope (nee Weir) and was a retired Human Resource Manager.
Survivors include a son Ryan Slater Hope and daughter in law Caron Lynn McDonald Hope of Athens and daughter Megan Ellen Hope Blizzard and son in law Nathan Blizzard of Marietta, PA; sister Betty Vertress of Carey, North Carolina, grandchildren Emery Margaret Hope and Chase Allan Blizzard and a number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will gather Saturday, January 14th, 2012 from 9AM to 11AM in the Schetter Funeral Home 304 W. Marlton Pike (Rt. 70), Cherry Hill, NJ. Inurnment will immediately follow at Cavalry Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
