Deana C Cleveland Wages

A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. Wages was the daughter of James D. Cleveland and Mona Sheffield Ledford. She graduated from Clarke Central High School and attended Athens Tech. Mrs. Wages was a former paramedic and cardiac tech and also worked at Athens Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Clouds Creek Baptist Church in Oglethorpe.

Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Greg Wages of Winterville; godson, Caleb Gosnell of Athens; step-mother, Danna Sue Cleveland of Athens; brother, Robert Clayton Cleveland of Winterville, and step-sister, Bethany Chyrrelle Nance and her husband, Jim of Statham; nieces, Maddalynn Nance, Natalie Nance, and Olivia Nance all of Statham, and several other family members.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, February 18th in the Chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev John Parker and Rev Greg Wages officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-3PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
