Born in Athens, C.J. was the son of the late Robert Jones Mason and Bertha Lee Thompson Mason. He worked for UPS for 32 years. Known as “Roadmaster” to his fellow trucking family, C.J. retired in 1998. He was a member of the Anderson Classic Car Club and loved spending time restoring and sharing his classic cars and attending car shows. C.J. also loved spending time with family and friends at his home on Lake Hartwell. On any given day when the sun was shining, you could find him on his dock soaking up the sun and sharing jokes with all who surrounded him. Anyone who knew C.J. knew he always had a smile on his face and at any given opportunity would dance his way into your heart. Now he is dancing on the streets of gold. Keep Dancing, Daddy!
