Claude C Jordan Jr.

A native of Athens, GA, Mr. Jordan was the son of the late Claude Clarence Jordan Sr and Reecie Dudley Jordan and was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Roth Jordan and sisters, Cleo Summey, Floy Pettyjohn, and Jewel Hale. Mr. Jordan served his country in the Army during the Korean War and worked for the US Post Office for 32 years as a mail clerk. He was a member of Hapeville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Kim Reeves of Fayetteville, GA and Kelly Hanson and husband, Randy of Hampton, GA; sisters, Jerline Ray of Athens, GA and Irene Bush of Virginia Beach, VA, and grandchildren, Alan and Alex Hanson and Tara Reeves.

Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, February 26th in the Chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hanson and Rev. Ron Hinson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Thursday, February 25th at the funeral home.
