Carolyn found joy in fellowship and friendship. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, the Athens Garden Club, and her most beloved group, the Joyful Hearts Bible Study at Bishop Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend James Ashe. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bishop Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, and in accordance with their wishes, Rev. James and Carolyn Ashe will be laid to rest together in a dual interment at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens.
