A native of Schenectady, NY, she was a daughter of the late James and Louise Meyer Finch. She was a homemaker, longtime member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and was currently a member of Athens First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters: Patti Staten and husband, Richard of Lilburn, Kyle Anne Mitchell and husband, Jay of Sarasota, FL, Beth Haggard and husband, Patrick of Athens, Pat Baker of Blue Ridge and grandchildren: Blake Staten (Melanie), Jase Mitchell (deceased), Emily Peacock (Scott), Evan Haggard, and Clark Haggard.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 21 at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with Reverends Chuck Hodges and Martha Aenchbacher officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Athens First United Methodist Church Organ Fund, 327 N. Lumpkin St., Athens, GA 30601.
