Russell Bates Huffman

Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014: 1-2 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be Entombment in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Huffman passed away Monday December 22, 2014 at his residence.

He was born January 7, 1933 in Nashville, TN to Buddy and Mabel Huffman.

Mr. Huffman is preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Cox, and brother H. Frank Huffman. He was a Navy Veteran, and retired from Brownsferry TVA.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Simmons Huffman of 50 years, of Athens, two daughters Harriet McMeans (Don) of Athens, and Helen David of Athens, one sister Shirley Sessoms of Cape Girardeau, MO, five grandchildren Patricia Donald (Anthony) of Athens, Beth Chambers (Joey) of Hoover, AL, Rebecca Silas (Dustin) of Athens, Trey McMeans of Athens, Robert McBay, Jr. of Athens, four great- grandchildren Michael Ward, Jr., Kheagan McBay, Conor Donald, and Luke Chambers.

Pallbearers will be Robert McBay, Jr., Trey McMeans, Dustin Silas, Don McMeans, David DeNuzzo, and Russell Cox.

In Lieu of Flowers make donations to Limestone County Boy’s and Girl’s Club.
